Structured Finance Africa – Dakar 2025 stands as a high-level strategic forum dedicated to the modernization of financial tools to support Africa’s economic transformation. With a firm focus on action, the Forum aims to accelerate structural change across the continent by promoting innovative financial solutions tailored to African realities.
Against a backdrop of increasing fiscal constraints, an annual infrastructure financing gap exceeding $108 billion, and a rising ambition for financial sovereignty, traditional approaches are no longer sufficient.
Structured Finance Africa highlights the most effective instruments to address these pressing challenges:
- Securitization, to unlock balance sheet capacity;
- Sustainable finance, to support social and environmental impact;
- Trade finance, to de-risk trade flows and strengthen regional value chains;
- Hybrid instruments and public-private partnerships, to finance strategic infrastructure;
- Digital innovation, as a driver of financial inclusion and intermediation.
Scheduled for 25 September 2025 in Dakar, the Forum will convene key stakeholders from across the African financial ecosystem — regulators, financial institutions, institutional investors, fintechs and development partners — from Africa, Europe, the United States, and the Gulf region.
Structured around five thematic pillars, discussions will aim to deliver actionable solutions to build a more resilient, inclusive, and sovereign African financial system.
Structured Finance Africa is more than just an event: it is a platform for dialogue and mobilization, dedicated to shaping the next generation of African financial solutions.
